Nikolina Brnjac was born on 11 July 1978. She graduated from the Faculty of Transport and Traffic Sciences at the University of Zagreb, where she also obtained her PhD. She began her professional career at the same Faculty, working as a lecturer, Head of Department and associate professor. Since 2016, she had been working at the Ministry of the Sea, Transport and Infrastructure, first as a Special Advisor to the Minister and later as a State Secretary. In 2019 she was appointed as the Ministry of Foreign and European Affairs State Secretary.
